Building peace is that alternative, a commitment guided by ethical principles,
chastened by the lessons of history, and embodied in the experience of practical peacemaking.

Gifts-in-Kind: Historic Treasures and Furnishings:
Remember AMP as you sort through your family mementos. Letters, journals, photos, portraits, memos, books, posters, buttons, etc. that relate to peace and the quest for peace within and in community, at home and abroad, are vital to AMP’s growth. Remember AMP as you clear. Basic furnishings such as file cabinets, bookshelves, desks, etc may be just what is needed. If not, the income received from their sale can become part of AMP’s endowment fund.

Foster Peace and Be the Change You Wish to See in the World
One of the most valuable ways to support AMP is to be an instrument of peace. Your calming presence, smile or helping hand; your personal commitment to be loving, appreciative, honest, compassionate, kind and just will advance peace in ways one cannot foresee.
We don’t have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change.
Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.
Howard Zinn (1922 – 2010)
